The mission of the Naval Reserve Recruiter's Association (NRRA) is threefold -
1) To support the recruiting mission of the United States Navy Recruiting Command in recruiting and training the highest quality recruits to man all billets to 100% of fleet requirements. Additionally, our members are to act as Centers of Influence in their communities and to represent our Navy to the highest standards of Honor, Courage and Commitment.
2) The NRRA will provide the highest quality, most cost effective annual National and Regional Reunions to our members and promote camaraderie and continued dedication to our Navy.
3) To provide support to our membership through the use of members of our organization who have previously been employed by the Veterans Administration as Veteran Service Officers and to pass relevant information about changes in VA through our various communications media in a timely manner.
Regular membership in the NRRA is open to Enlisted or Officer personnel who have served as a Navy Reserve recruiter or as TEMAC with Regular Navy Recruiting. Personnel who served as part of the Career Recruiter Force or support personnel assigned to authorized duties as Enlisted Classifiers or processors at MEPS, support personnel at Naval Reserve Recruiting Command activities eg. Training Department, Quality Assurance, Supply, Admin support etc. are also eligible for membership. Membership can be purchased and renewed annually or a life membership is available. All regular members have full voting rights at annual business meetings and can hold national office. Although the membership criteria predominately seeks past and present Navy Reserve recruiting personnel, regular Navy Recruiting Command personnel, past and present, are also eligible for membership.
Associate membership in the NRRA is open to family and friends of regular members for those who actively support the goals and objectives of our organization. Associate members have voting privileges at our annual business meeting and are subject to our standard dues structure. For your convenience the link below is to our membership application.
The NRRA does have a private FaceBook group page in which its 600+ members can post pictures and information. Group membership is NOT restricted to strictly dues paying members of the NRRA but open to all who have served in some capacity of Navy Recruiting and must be approved by one the group's administrators.
